approximately 70% of these guys will never make the majors, but here is the first round:June 07, 2004 at 09:45PM View BBCode
Jered Weaver fell a long long ways, he was supposed to go #1 for a long time, then in the last week or so the Padres started with talk of different people, i hear he was the most polished and ready for the majors, but less potential than a lot of the guys in the draft.June 07, 2004 at 10:08PM View BBCode
Weaver fell mainly due to signability, I think. Scott Boras is a pain.June 08, 2004 at 01:29AM View BBCode
Ok, I never got the memo saying I was supposed to care about the MLB draft...June 08, 2004 at 01:37AM View BBCode
Weaver fell to 12th and Drew fell to 15th. They were expected to go 1-2 awhile ago. The 3 Rice guys and high schoolers must have been more appealing...and they dont have Boras as their agentJune 08, 2004 at 01:41AM View BBCode
I wish I knew something about the players, but for baseball I don't have a clue about the draft. The only draft I know a bit about is footballJune 08, 2004 at 01:45AM View BBCode
I read stuff. The only guys I knew were Weaver (brother of Jeff), Drew(brother of JD and an Atlanta prospect), and the 3 Rice pitchersJune 08, 2004 at 02:30AM View BBCode
