I prefer a speed league that is between 10 to 15 games per day. Otherwise I am simply looking for a league with two open positions that has experienced owners.
I am around 860 prestige and will be an active owner in any league I am apart of.
Anyone that has openings in a league like this please post here so I can check it out.

Me and one other experienced owner have taken breaks from this game for about a year. I have won 18 world series between my three different leagues. Most of my time was spent in 1 league with 16 ws. There are a number of leagues that fit your criteria. You'll have to consider what rules you like. Below are some of the leagues that might work for you. I didn't list ones that have 4+ openings, as they might not be the best leagues to start in.Vizquel Spahn League (24 team league, 9 GPD, System 3 minors)

I used to be Commissioner there and while I am no longer - trying to cut back from spreading myself too thin, as well - I can certainly vouch for it.

This is a rather unique approach to the game and makes for some very interesting pennant races.

The JFL is a 12 gpd speed league with hidden improves and no visible +/- ratings. We are currently looking for one owner to operate two teams in the league. Each team costs $7.00 per month to own. The league uses a majors/AAA format with each owner having a major league team and a AAA team. Unlimited trading is allowed between the two teams that an owner has.This is a rather unique approach to the game and makes for some very interesting pennant races.

We are 9 gpd, with several unique rules and a long-time group of good owners who enjoy playing together.
We were the first blind league on the site. No visible minor league improvements. No plus/minus grades. It's great fun once you accept that it's OK not to know everything so exactly.
We also redraft the top 32 players each season with a message board draft and lottery.
We are in our last season before renewal, so your timing is perfect to come aboard now. At least 2 teams will be open.
