I think old man Tim has a bigger crush on Chone Figgins than I do.

is that pronounced ch-NEIGH-o?

(because it should be pronounced that way, it would be awesome.)

I was thinking of the oracle-seeking ch-nee-oh, as in the matrix character...

chuh

neo

mostly I was just adding to the oracle silliness that you and deewhite were engaging in.

DO NOT MOCK THE BOBBY ABREU ORACLE!

(it probably teach Hideki Matsui to draw walks.)

I assume nothing of the kind.

at your age, I DO assume you fall asleep EVERY 20 minutes.

Yeah, Tim is so damn old that he still has to fight the urge to destroy any digital watches he sees, because they are of the devil or something.

(Win?)

((No.))

I recognize a Hitchhiker's Guide reference when I see one, nerdlinger.

Not me, I've never read it. NERDS.

I've actually caught a baseball game this year, it was wild.

(The White Sox, I'm done with the Cubs.)

Yeah. It's definitely a blind spot for me, but also one that's on the list.

Yes, lets all be excellent to each other. But if we cannot, then let the stabbing begin.

So any Seattle Fans have any predictions on Silva's line tonight against the Reds? He actually pitched pretty well this spring and I heard Rothschild tweaked his windup which is allowing his sinker to actually sink.
Tyles

April 09, 2010 at 06:32PM View BBCode

Eh, it's the Reds, so ...

5 IP, 7 H, 4 ER, 2 K, BUT ONLY TWO WALKS!

(He's going to pitch eight innings of 2-hit ball now, but censored him, seriously.)

The cubs pitching (caridad and zambrano) have single handedly killed my fantasy pitching this week.
Jon

April 10, 2010 at 05:02AM View BBCode

Silva was somehow un-awful tonight. Caridad, on the other hand.......

(As for the M's, I'm not jumping off a bridge yet. It's the first week of the season, the Red Sox and Angels are both 1-3. If they're still playing like crap after Lee comes back then I will start to get worried.)

the only "if" in the astros season is "if" there's divine intervention, they'll win 80 games.

this has all the markings of the 1st 100 loss season in team history.
