Hey-I'm an idiot

I stared at the sun. I was looking for the Transit of Venus, which occured this morning. I had on a pair of sunglasses, and I only looked long enough to see it, and I still nearly went blind. I'm stupid, but at least it was kinda cool.

I know what you're talking about. All over the news they kept telling people not to look at it and how many do you think looked at it?

It was basically impossible to see it once the sun got bright enough. I caught it around 6:30 AM and at that time, it was still dim enough to make out Venus with sunglasses. Half an hour later the sun was just too bright to see it, even with sunglasses. Still kinda cool that I saw it.
