gladiators, that sounds like fun. but i still say that we just buy a decent rifle, get about 100 rounds, put everyone in a little bitty cell, and let them run away from the bullets. the ones who dont get shot will die of shock.

Kill-floors in slaughterhouses are the definition of efficient killing, that's really the way to go. Even cheaper than bullets, they just use scrap metal, or a retractable spike...

or how about a big trap door where the floor falls out and the "deathees" fall into a large pit of spikes?

It would pile up after a while, and you'd be left with a swimming pool of viscera and bile, with little human chunks everywhere, and there isn't a maid service in the world that will take that job...
