Hi Mark.......I see that I have a franchise worst listed for Milwaukee.....which is correct.....I had the Milwaukee franchise, (known as the Mudhens) from1950 thru 1982......setting a franchise best record of 113-49 in 1963.....compiling (9) 100+ seasons during that time......I left Mike0221 with a club that would compile another 6 in a row after that....... would you please list my franchise best for me as well.....thanks!......I think Atlanta will become the Mudhens next season.....

Gah! Not sure how I missed that ... though it was '64, not '63 ... and it is corrected, my friend!

Just updated this for the 2012 season. LOTS of activity last year.
? **Six** teams set new owner win records, though LA qualifies by virtue of being a (once again) first year owner.
? Two teams set new lows for futility, though again, one was by virtue of Pearly being a returning new owner.
? Two teams changed their name or location last year.

The Cyclones set a new franchise best under Danno38852 this year. Congrats!
Horseradish's Atlanta Mudhens blew away the previous franchise best of 113-49 under Cincy's old manager, zheric. Congrats!
abarkov kept getting Milwaukee better and set a new franchise best for his tenure. Congrats!
Mr. Pearly69 did a +6 for a new franchise best in his return to the game. Congrats!
donharris1961 did a flip flop on his won-loss totals to set a new franchise best under his management. Congrats!
kingofthemountain hit a +14 on the improvement scale to set a new franchise record for his leadership of the roster. Congrats!
Nick (fg) *just* missed tying his franchise best effort by one measly game this year.
Lots of improvement, zero "worsts" this year. Is that a first?

I suppose it sounds kinda greedy....but the Mudhens faithful would sure like to claim the NL single season record at 127 wins.....besting the St. Louis previous record of 125 set in 1975......it would be much appreciated....what a season 2013 was!!!!

Updated for 2014 and 2015 ... still sad to see two long time stalwarts of the GGL leave us (WHEELSRUGS and seahags).
Also, congrats once again to Rich (Horseradish) for setting NL Won-Loss records *twice* in the past few years!!

Updated. New owners added. Blue bold indicates new highs (or lows) set in 2016.

Updated. Most of the new records are set by new owners, but there are a few other accomplishments reached this year.
Congrats to all and I hope we see you all again next season!

I know it's late, but I didn't want a season to go by without acknowledging last year's high and low water marks.
It was the second season for several owners, so several new high/low marks were set. Look for the bold blue.

Five new records set in 2019 ... and a last year for fg in St. Louis.

A few changes this year. A moment of silence for the passing of Shazam into that long list of former GGL owners as the DynastyBot returns for 2021.

? Chicago AL set a new franchise record under danno38852 and still missed the playoffs. That's got to be frustrating.
? Todd (mrtwolff) took Oakland to the ALCS with a franchise best effort.
? Over in the National League, Steve (Lawman23) inspired the 76ers to their best effort under his ownership in the league so far.
? The LA Youngstuds went to the NLCS on the strength of Brian's (bpearly69) best effort so far on his second go-round in the league.
? The Titans had an off year.
? The renamed Hammers in St. Louis had a best and a worst record set by virtue of it being their first year in the league.
? Finally, the Jolly Rogers won the World Series but didn't set any type of franchise record. Interesting!
