How about Jack1 is the panel, I think everybody is in a league with him, on a count of him being in almost every league.:D

arodtoo - references is probably a good idea.
It is getting harder and harder for me to really know the people well that are frequent posters. I definitely recognize the 50-100 names that post every day, but it takes longer for me to remember the personalities. So I basically take a sampling of what you've posted and see how long you get along with others, among other things (ie you need to work on your grammer :P ).
In other words, I don't really use any information that a panel doesn't already have access to - besides which leagues each person is in.

who needs grammer, our president seems to get along fine without it, or for that matter much of an education:P, but anyways, is it stuff like grammer that you put a lot of consideration in? I don't take much time to look over my posts because it isn't a college term essay, as long as people can understand it i am fine, but if it is a big factor i will spend more time looking at my posts[Edited on 11-19-2003 by arodtoo]

As for grammer and capitilization, that goes into the Effective Communications category - simply put, are you an effective communicator? Two of the best effective communicators on the board are CaseyStengel and Bob.

i guess tyson would never let me run a private league. especially considering that i dont meet most if not any of the requirements and if grammar and spelling is involved at all i definetly wont be able to run one. anyway he prolly doesnt want a 14 year old running a league. and i dont wanna have my own private league especially if i have to pay. i have enough things to do already but im sure if i asked about one i would get an immediate NO:).

i asked tyson and he said after the babe ruth league starts, although he said their might be a 2-3 day break in between the start of the Babe Ruth league, and the new commish being announced

I humbly request that my name be taken off of the list as I'd prefer to be close to being done with one of the two leagues I'm finding difficult to manage. As much time as I spend on this site, and as much as I would like to commish a league, I doubt it's going to happen any time soon, and I probably wouldn't be able to give each team and the league as well the attention they deserve. Thank you for at least considering me, but right now, only three months or so into my first private league, and a mere two weeks into my second private league, I feel I am far from qualified.

So, will there be another new league forming before the end of the year? I want to take advantage of the price change.

Jack is a legend with people who play the Stats games. He personally organized more leagues than I thought it was humanly possible to be in...let alone oversee! I was one of seemingly few people he DIDN'T introduce to the Stats games. But, he did introduce me to these.
I'm not sure why I'm posting this. Maybe, I wanted to provide a small glimpse of someone you've all had some contact with and to show that his being in 15 Dynasty Leagues is no abberation. The man's a fantasy baseball junkie in as wonderful a way as I've seen. I once talked to Stats founder John Dewan who explained that there was a target audience for the Classic Game, as it was then known. John mentioned Jack as the embodiment of that audience. He has the time, he has the desire and lately he's had the money!
