I checked my mentoring scores for the first 5 games and found that the lowest in any category is C+.
The message implies that the mentoring score has dropped below C+ in the last game played (Game 5).
Am I misreading the message OR is the message incorrect OR are the mentoring scores in the boxscore wrong?

Mentoring A- This test looks at your last regular season games' mentoring score. It is suggested that you maintain at least a C+ rating in each mentoring category, otherwise your young major league players will not get as many improvement chances as they should.

Is Coach ABE reading letter grade or actual number? Is there a difference in what Coach ABE says to us, based on whether our C+ mentoring is barely C+, as opposed to nearly B-? Just a possiblity. No reason to believe this is the case.

It just parses the text from the boxscore. Perhaps it is looking at the wrong game, let me look into it.Tyson
