according to a group of hollywood people who made the top 100 movies of all time, Godfather 1 was first, Casablanca was 2nd, don't know any of the others. However, Star Wars set the record for tickets sold, and all 3 original star wars movies are in the top 10 for tickets sold (sequels rarely do better than the original, since people who saw the original and didnt like it wont see the sequel at all). Star Wars inspired tons of action figures, video games, etc. Hard to say which one is really better.

It's hard to name the greatest movie of all time, but you can't ignore Orson Welles - nobody has even mentioned Citizen Kane yet... I'd say that The Third Man is also better than The Godfather...

The only people who seem to really like it are film students and movie critics. I guess they're wowed by the technique involved, but most everyone else thinks its incredibly dull...

yea i dont like movies where u know that the good guy will always be alive in the end that much. thats the thing i liked about identity u didnt know who the killer wuz and who would live and die and the ending wuz very surprising. schef called it at about the middle of the movie but he also thought that each character wuz the killer at different points of the movie. including the lady that got hit by the car.:D

I liked Identity, It had me fooled for a while, and I usually catch on to plot twists pretty quick.(I had Sixth Sense nailed before I even saw it...)
