Well with the fate of the league in play I changed my mind to ensure it's survival. I've had fun here and some success in the short time. I decided to leave since I will be traveling a lot in the next month and it seemed wiser to let one team go so I could focus on the ones I am already paid up on.
Your right in that there were five teams listed as leaving but there were also multiple teams listed as undecided or unknown and not even half the league was listed as renewing and if two more teams swung to leaving which was probably realistic (hell one team is still unknown the last day of the regular season). Thus with the fate of the league in at stake I figured it would be better to spend the $50 and spend more time here with you guys.
It's nice to see how it was received. I'm not going to apologize to you for renewing and trying to help out the league as a whole. I will apologize to the new guys who won't be able to get some of my players, but hey at least we know we will have baseball next season.
Anyway, lets get the last of the teams squared away and enjoy the playoffs.

Jack, I believe you renewed before any teams were posted.

I am sure Willy was just expressing frustration that some of us who have been here for years (real time) almost lost a league precious to us. Certainly we don't WANT you to leave, and I look forward to competing with you for hopefully many seasons to come.

Well I renewed because I did not want the league to suffer and no offense to some people but the leagues that languish sometimes are the ones where a small group of people who know each other too well make it less than fun for the rest of the league. I am by no means an expert in SimD but I find it fun and certainly will never apologize for keeping my team and preventing your "friends" from coming in......not exactly the best way to get the moral up.....

Ok, enough said. I'm blowing up my team and reboot.And I'll not ridicule any past owners, just try to eventually dethrone the two kings of the NL. It seems like 20 years sine Cin has not been a factor and about 10 years since Mil wasn't up there too.

The reason Willy, Ofan, and I have primarily held the spots is because the majority of NL owners seem content to not make moves and/or let prospects rot, and don't bother ordering their Draft Lists. I have watched it year in and year out, and have frequent discussions about this with several owners. I have actually come close to leaving several times because of this. I look forward to new competitive owners in the FRL.
