I was also offered Philip Rivers in exchange for CJ Spiller, but that was after Spiller had a big game against KC and I'm not sure if it still stands after his dud last week.

I would do that deal Brees is a significant upgrade over Ryan without Julio Jones.

Zing! And this wasn't even a 2 AM drunk post from Paul! (I'll try not to mention that 4 of those 100 loss seasons are from a chaperoned team, and a lot of those losses are from speed leagues that are significantly harder than dynasty leagues which make up 85% of your seasons. :D)

Fantasy football is fine, I play it myself and usually regret it by week 10 (probably because I don't care enough about football except the Cowboys to care), but I've never heard a conversation about fantasy football and thought, wow...that was an awesome discussion. There is no frame of reference unless you are discussing it with the other members of your league. The discussion usually goes: "My team has players x and y" and the rebuttal is "Well my team has players x and z"...end of discussion.

you still alive eragon? i got some tough calls for my title game, any thoughts?

RB2: Andre Brown/Lamar Miller/Stevan Ridley

WR4 (we start 3 WRs and a W/T, but I only have one TE): Cordarrelle Patterson, Da'Rick Rogers, Hakeem Nicks, Michael Floyd

I guess I gotta lean Brown at RB, unless Dan Thomas doesn't play. I feel like the WRs are all the same, I have Rogers penciled in right now but all the "experts" rank him the worst of the 4. Not really feeling Patterson vs. CIN, and definitely not about to start Floyd @SEA. Nicks is total garb and Rogers is nobody. Just kinda hoping the Colts will have to throw a ton vs. KC and Rogers will get some chances? oy

I got too pissed about fantasy to post about anything fantasy football related after these two games happened B2B weeks.
I was 5-5 and had a nice shot at a playoff spot. In the 11th week, I go into MNF down by 22 points. I have Greg Olsen and Stevan Ridley playing in the Pats- Carolina game. He has nobody left. I lost by 1.8 points because of a Ridley fumble. That I can live with, it happens. The next week I'm playing a 6-5 team that is right ahead of me in the standings but I have the tiebreaker (we use total points scored buy each team). I'm down about 18-19 points after the day games and he has nobody left. I have Ridley and Welker playing in SNF and Garcon and Gore in MNF. I'm extremely confident in a win, after all I need those 4 guys (all solid fantasy players) to average 5 points and I win. Of course, Ridley fumbles (Von Miller returned it for a TD) and gets benched for the rest of the game, scoring -.8 points. Welker scored just 3.1 points. I was a bit nervous but still figured I had it in the bag. However, Gore, in a great matchup against the pathetic Washington D, puts up his second to worst outing of the season, scoring just 3.1 points. Garcon had 8 catches but had just 48 yards. So somehow, down 18 with 4 guys left, I ended up losing by 7.8 points (approx.). that eliminated me from the playoffs and let me tell you I didn't handle the loss to well

2 questions for you paul.
1. Did you win the championship?
2. How many teams are in this league?

i lost, great time for my 2nd worst week of the season, ha. Those decisions had no impact, although I did pick the worst of the RBs (Miller) and the 2nd worst WR (Nicks), haha.

10 teams Dynasty (keep as many or as few as you want; keep a player, lose a pick) 2 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1 TE 1 W/T 1 Q/W/R/T 1 K 1 DEF. You can start 3 QBs.
