Wow... Football to figure skating in the same thread. Interesting... Anyway I could go on and make another long post on the subject and continue this debate but since Whisky is the primary guy arguing the opposite side and me and him had our own debate on AIM and both saw that we each had some pretty good points I'm not gonna waste my time on another post now. Maybe I'll copy and paste the conversation here later.

Ok, so I don't really believe all that I said and I mostly don't like Brady because of the ref's call in the Snow Bowl but his stats in the regular season are merely above average. (as opposed to Hall of Fame calibur) Look at them and you'll see that. To say that he knows how to win is like saying Jeter knows how to win. Of course he does, because he's been on a good to great team his whole career with a good supporting cast. The real test would be if he were on a team like the Browns or Dolphins. He's a good QB, no doubts there. And he does seem to be able to step up his game in the playoffs, but he doesn't deserve the total credit for all the wins. Belichick, Weis, Crennel, Seymour, Harrison, Law, the whole O-line, Dillon, Bruschi, McGinest, Vrabel and Vinetieri all deserve a lot of that credit too. They've had some of the best coaching, and great players on defense and a solid O-line the whole time. He has a long way to go before being a lock for the Hall. To say "if he stay on this path..." is absurd though because his main qualification for the HoF is his postseasons that he's had and to expect the Patriots to make it to the SB every year is ridiculous. He will have to add a little more to his regular season stats to get in.
