11. This is my third year at the school but I don't think I've ever been picked on....

got into one fight. threw a punch, and missed a little, and made his ear swell up. at least it was a good punch. pretty good power, bad accuracy.

I go to a 9th-12th grade school also. I am in my senior year and have yet to be picked on once. Now it's unlikely that I ever will because I am an upperclassman.[size=2]Maybe it's cause I'm a wrestler...[/size]

I've noticed that the people who pick on the underclassmen will weed out the people who do not react to being picked on. If you're gonna have no reaction or a mild one, then it's not as fun. They want a good reaction and if they have to work hard to get one, then it's already too much work. They figured out quickly that I don't do anything and I'm boring to pick on. Chances are that unless someone is shot or a girl takes her top off, my reaction will be mild at best

I feel like skier with slightly better grammar. Maybe I should have extended that by repeating myself several more times. Of course, I don't want this thread to undergo the terror of ANPoL

I'm trying to remember if she did that in 9th grade or not...I think she did, toward the end of the year. At first it was so not happening. Actually, now I remember...the first time was ninth grade and it lasted like two minutes, and she was like, "There you go." And I'm like--"What we have here is a failure to communicate."

9th grade was good in all facets for me. My girfriend and I used to sneak into expensive houses that were just built but unfurnished, with a friend of ours, hehehe, good times!

yeah. painted. im sorry i dont feel bad for black people in the ghetto, and i think rappers are bad for society. im not gonna go any further than this.

The lack of black achievement, in my opinion, is twofold: There is institutional racism, and the general economic split between black and white (like I said, GENERAL) does exist because of it. But another key factor is apathy among many blacks and a willingness--too quickly--to blame institutional racism for their problems. That just creates a vicious cycle and makes a bad situation worse. Jesse Jackson is the worst thing that ever happened to the black community.
Rappers are neither good or bad--they are neutral. I listened to heavy metal growing up--I felt no urge to kill my parents or shoot heroin or become a whore or whatever. People have to take responsiblity for themselves, and if you live your life by what some rapper says, you're not doing that.
That said, racism is real and it has a lot to do with where blacks are in this society.
