i dont understand the added strategic factor of a 4-division league. What kind strategies would work in a 4-team division but not in one with 8?January 09, 2011 at 04:03PM View BBCode
I'm all for a 24 team league too. I realize that this or a 32 team league may never happen, as I posted up front, but a guy can dream a little though!January 10, 2011 at 03:05AM View BBCode

I got sick of reading the back and forth, I like the 24 team idea Rooster had, I don't think SimD will make the jump from 16 to 32 that quickly, i think you need to take baby steps, I expect once the economy fully turns around it'll be easier but a lot of people have listed lack of money for a reason of dropping teams, so that might hold it back anyway as far as going to 32 teams, which would as stated hurt business for the time being.January 18, 2011 at 03:06PM View BBCode
If the teams remain at 16, divisions should stay the same, I don't like 4 per division unless it was a bigger league set, such as a 32 team league and then you'd want it being set up MLB style, but the 24 team, 6 per sounds goodJanuary 19, 2011 at 04:14AM View BBCode
16 teams is perfect. You get to know all your opponents and it's easy enough to keep track of 16 rosters. You start having to keep track of 32 different teams, rank twice as many players for a draft, etc, etc and this game will feel like a job. It's already hard enough for the average person to maintain a life and manage more than two teams. Start making things more complicated and the amount of teams on the replacement list will only grow in my opinion.
