but anyway, i don't follow MLB much, so when Votto won the MVP my reaction was, Who the hell is that?
But I came across an article about him recently that had some remarkably astounding stats about him, they actually seemed too amazing to be true. It said that he has only pulled the ball foul into the stands once in his career, and that he's only popped up to the infield 3 times in the past 4 seasons, or something. That fool's ridiculous

That was in SI, Tom Verducci I believe. I read it too. Votto is an amazing hitter. If he keeps on the way he is the rest of the season, he could win his second NLMVP.

Sadly Chapman, and his now very hittable fastball, are derailing The Machine. Not sure why he isn't throwing his slider? And why hasn't he unveiled a change up yet?
