Like I said, it's very likely that Manny doesn't know how babies are made.
(He has three kids already. He probably sleeps with a different woman on the road every night. The last thing this guy wants is an increased sperm count.)

to stimulate ovulation? manny needs to ovulate, you know. it isn't just about the home runs and doubles.

This was being given to finish off a cycle of steroids.

shrug. your opinion, which might even be a fact. but not true because you believe it, or say it.

some of those folks they hung up in the trees? might have been guilty.

it doesn't have any applicability to manny and his drug test, no. but it is quite relevant to what is true, and what you or i think is true. no?

did clarence thomas come out strong for innocent until proven guilty?

He claimed he was being lynched with the whole pubic hairs on Coke cans thing.
Manny isn't innocent. Manny failed a drug test. So, first off, he's already been found guilty. But beyond that, if someone is found not guilty of doing something that doesn't mean that I, as a person with some amount of common sense, have to assume innocence given the facts I know. Manny's explanation here doesn't hold an ounce of water. If you want to give him the benefit of the doubt then that's your prerogative, but I'm under no obligation to do so.

i think his explanation, such as it is, is rather bewildering.
i can't figure out why he would take steroids in the first place, when there is testing. i guess he took it as a masking agent (i cannot figure out if it is supposed to be effective at that, i guess not, i guess it really the opposite, more of a marker for steroid use, which is what you guys are implying), or to recover (testicualar size or whatever) from the steroids, and maybe he just thought the test was bad at detecting steroids (bryan seems to imply this is true, that the testing isn't very good at detecting them, but is good at detecting stuff like this hgc) and didn't realize this particualr chemical was on the banned list.
in conclusion, the dodgers saved a bunch of money, like $7 Million or something.

maybe a better comparison is you walk into your mom's room and I quickly pull up my pants and run out the door while your mom is laying naked on the bed. you haven't technically witnessed me in your mom's business. but you damn sure can connect the dots and my explanation the next day that I was installing cable at your house and realized I was late for an appointment and I never saw your mom laying there would sound stupid at best. I would probably 2 years later reply that my explanation was mostly true as ?installing cable? was just my word for screwing your mom.

We would also have accepted "laying pipe", but that would have required a different story and a change of uniform.

i'm impressed by your command of the language. the stuff about my mom's business is rather poetic.

my mom would have have to have been sleeping in an open ditch for this one to make sense. and that makes about as much sense as manny taking fertility drugs.

(Don't ordinary plumbers sometimes refer to what they're doing as "laying pipe"? I mean, if you're replacing a pipe, technically you're laying pipe.)
((Now all we need is a bit about the pizza delivery guy and we'll have achieved the porno trifecta.))

"Watering the flowers" would have also been acceptable, but he woudl have had to either been named Manuel or Akihito.

That's why only cable guys, plumbers and pizza delivery boys count. Gardeners and pool boys are just too exotic.

"laying pipe" is usually reserved for new construction, in residential or commercial applications, storm drain normally, then sewer lines or water lines (but they usually call that "laying water line"). plumbers "install plumbing." they get paid big. the cretins who "lay pipe" work for coolie wages, thus the earthy connection to sexual intercourse.
"checking the pipes" stuff like that, is the plumbing term for having sex.

I guess the terminology that goes with... "installing cable" and "laying pipe" is... quite frankly... " censored the pizza."
