The Guns of Summer

This was the title of a summary of the season of 1930 in a baseball history book I own... And it would appear that in the Charlie Grimm League, things of a similar sort are happening. Here's an example:
http://www.simdynasty.com/leaders.jsp?stat=RBIs&year=1950&submit=Submit&leagueid=33
Four players in both leagues are on pace to have 160+ RBI seasons. In 1930, four players had 160+ RBI's, and six had 150+. On my team alone, with my calculations as accurate as I can get them, I have four players on pace for 40 HR, 120 RBI seasons, and to add to that, three of them are batting over .380...
Granted this is but one month into the season, but you should see the team ERA's already... lol

I have a template on works where i project the statistics for every player on my roster. I have it only for the hitters, though. The pitching one I haven't yet set up, and I'm not sure exactly how the projections would work, because the relief pitching is randomized and only comes in in certain situations.
Nonetheless, it's fun to track the progress of my hitters. All I have to do is enter the stats in and the table below the main entries shows the projected stats if they were to play every game for the rest of the season, not counting the games they've missed already. There's a sub on my team who came in for one game, as a pinch hitter, and ended up hitting a homerun. He's going to have some pretty warped projections until he gets more playing time... lol :)
Here's how my core hitting stacks up at the moment, projected:
Carlton Fisk, C: 161 G, 616 AB, 244 H, 44 HR, 144 RBI, .396 BA
Ted Williams, OF: 161 G, 688 AB, 228 H, 56 HR, 133 RBI, .331 BA
Wade Boggs, 3B: 160 G, 589 AB, 194 H, 46 HR, 154 RBI, .330 BA
Nomar Garciaparra, SS: 159 G, 654 AB, 224 H, 41 HR, 130 RBI, .342 BA
Jim Rice, OF: 160 G, 583 AB, 171 H, 40 HR, 137 RBI, .294 BA
Granted, these guys aren't going to play every game for the rest of the season or keep the pace they're at, but it's fun to see what would happen if they did either or both. :)

Here are some projected stats through 41 games.
Carlton Fisk: 160 G, 603 AB, 127 R, 254 H, 62 2B, 41 HR, 135 RBI, .422 BA
Ted Williams: 161 G, 676 AB, 141 R, 233 H, 44 2B, 12 3B, 56 HR, 129 RBI, 60 SB, .345 BA
Wade Boggs: 159 G, 603 AB, 192 H, 38 2B, 50 HR 146 RBI, 21 SB, .319 BA
Jim Rice: 159 G, 548 AB, 100 R, 184 42 HR, 138 RBI, .336 BA
I find it absolutely amazing that Williams is projected for as many RBI's as he is, seeing as he's my leadoff hitter. He's looking a lot like Soriano with 14 HR and 15 SB through 40 games.

I'm Boston, btw... Pardon for not getting back to the post for such a long time.
But instead of making a new thread for this, I decided to post my current stance thru 91 games.... I have 5 players already with 20 homeruns. With the current pace, my team is expected to DESTROY the team HR record in the 71 upcoming games.
