I love Dennis Rodman. I hope they let him come back like he wants. Right off the top of my head, I'd go for Mike Tyson. Rodman wasnt that weird as an athlete, he was weird off the field. There has got to be some pitcher thats the weirdest.

Wierdest? I'm not quite sure of to quantify that.

How about Stan "The Man Unusual"?

Tyson is just a brainless thug and doesn't deserved to be mentioned about anything.

Anyone heard of Bobo Newsome (i might have misspelled his last name. )

And he was a pitcher..He would chase firetrucks and join a circuses instead of coming to the ballpark to pitch.

Weirdest baseball player.

:D It would have to be a tie : former Red Sox reliever Bill "spaceman" Lee & former Indians outfielder John Lowenstein(who started his apathy club.):P

King Kelly, Bird Fridrych, Kyle Turley, George "The Animal" Steele (now a professor of Botany), Yogi Berra, the list goes on and on... but Tyson is an absolute freakin' madman.

He honestly should be in seclusion. He's going to kill someone in the next few years.

yogi berra and tyson r totally different. well actually tyson and the human race r totally different. tyson or rodman its hard to decide whose weirder i think that rodman has the edge in tattoos(despite mikes new ink job on his face) piercings hair colors and wedding dresses. tyson leads rodman in rapes and biting of body parts of other human beings. tyson definetly needs to be put in a straight jacket and shackels and locked in a padded room all by himself. although tyson is more of a violent menace i still think rodman edges him in weird.

I still want to see Tyson, Rodman, and Michael Jackson in a no holds barred cage match. Once Tyson kills Rodman and Jackson, we'll throw him in the slammer and leave him there. After that we may finally be able to salvage American culture.

If there's anybody else we should throw in the ring, don't hesitate to say so :)

Turk Wendell (chewing licorice, brushing teeth, hopping over foul lines)
Spaceman Lee (Marijuana pancakes anyone?)
Tom Paciorek (Pants down on the game of the week!)
Jimmy Piersall (backwards home run trot)
Jim Eisenreich (Tourette's in his pre-Phillies days (while a Twin) almost ended his career)
Glenallen Hill (Spider nightmare caused injury and lost playing time)
Larry Anderson (why DO we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?)

That's a few from the memory banks. I'm proud to have in my collection autographed balls from both Turk Wendell and Spaceman Lee!

You could throw Marilyn Manson(no idea on spelling) in the ring along with those hanson boys and I believe the world would be a better place.

How about
Pete Browning, he had hundreds of baseball bats, and gave them all names, and believed they only had a certain amount of hits in them, and he had to switch them when they ran out of hits

there was also a early 1900s or later 1800s player who truly believed that the world was flat, and convinced most of the people on his baseball team that the world was flat

Carl Everett.

"Someone actually saw Adam and Eve. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex."

Hilariously insane.

Carl Everett doesn't believe in dinosaurs because they aren't in the Bible:

"Someone actually saw Adam and Eve. No one ever saw a Tyrannosaurus rex."

Hilariously insane.

Happy, that IS pretty crazy. Everett is pretty whacked too.

How about Ray Chapman? OK, this is kinda crude, but weird that he didn't have any reflexes lol. Or at least they sure didn't show up that day.

How is Everett weird? He's just expressing his belief in his religion. I dont want to get into religion, but its not weird at all if you think about it.

Until of course you dig up Tyrannosaurus Rex bones in your backyard.

Where's Adam buried again?

mike tyson could have been the greatest boxer ever, he was unstoppable in the last 1980s and early 1990s. he ran over and beat the carp out of the other guy every time, and he never sat down.

he lost to Buster Douglas, because he became too caught up in the money and fame and thought he didnt have to really try to beat anyone, and he got beat, and since then he has been a mess. prison time for a felony rape conviction, and he has not been a great boxer since, the ear biting thing against holyfield was a move of desperation, and all the good boxers hes faced recently have beat him, or refuse to fight him. lots of people still like him and are willing to pay alot to see him fight even though he is messed up. i dont know if he is the most messed up athlete ever but his being messed up ruined what could have been the greatest career of any boxer, so he probably lost the most from being messed up.
