i wanted a stupid one, sicne i already had mattalonsas (my normal screen name) and the_doctor (for my cleveland team where every player is named after a disease), i did not think "ME" would be available, but i typed it in and it worked, so i kept with it and used it for the message board.

Alright then.

I used to work for a writer/director on the east coast and he had another Chris P. in the office (alongside me). So to avoid confusion, the other Chris (from Great Britain) was referred to as Brit Chris, and I (from australia) was referred to as Oz Chris. Eventually they became abbreviated to Brit and Oz, to the point where some of my actual film credits use my real name, while others use Oz, and some use both.

So fast forward a year or so and I'm living in LA, lovin' the Dodgers, and thus my screennames became HollywoodOz. I'm in Vancouver now, but the Hollywood stays, more because of my job and interests than location.

Entertaining enough?

Ok fine, ill tell mine, this name was originally used to try to get a name at Black planet.com (yeah, its for black people, but i was just wondering...) and i got the name from Happysound, the firecracker, because on the fourth of july this guy kept saying "happy sound" and i was just thinking of it when i got the name. Well there is my boring story.

Circa 1992 I was 14 years old and way in over my head with the whole rebellion thing. That year the first song I ever made out to was Guns N' Roses Sweet Child O' Mine. I quickly became a GnR nut. Posters and magazine articles and all that pathetic teenage nonsense. For some insane reason I got to thinking that Duff McKagan was the coolest guy in this history of the world (he was their bassist). Duff, in reality, was a drunk and a drug addict with an IQ of 79. But I was fourteen--I was an idiot. At any rate, I became a Duff fan, and for awhile I actually tried to get people to CALL me that. I actually wrote it as my first name on a couple papers I turned in (which no one ever paid any attention to--rightly so). But somehow it's remained my first choice whenever I sign up for anything online. The 77 refers to my birth year.

Everybody thinks that. :) People also used to think it had to do with the Duff who was on MTV. Though I haven't heard that one in awhile.

My name reflects the statements I make.

Yeah, I was going to say,
"Duff beer for me,
Duff beer for you,
I'll have a Duff,
You have one too."

Furious George was Mr. Burns' knife-fighting monkey. The I is because when I first got it someone already had the E spelling, and I just started using the I everywhere so I wouldn't have to remember which was I and which E.

i think money birthday presents are for people who are too lazy to try to figure out what you really want. i like actually getting stuff, and i like giving people stuff.

well for example i kno wut i want sometimes but i dont trust my aunt to go to sports authority or footlocker or wherever and get the right basketball jersey. also i like having the money incase i see something and i change my mind about wut i want. and like after i buy they stuff that i kno i wanted its nice to have money left over to get things that i may see and then want instead of having things that i dont want and no money.

dont know who number 14 on the braves is. i think it is dumb to ask for money. this is because since at least adults are supposed to give each other gifts of somewhat equal value, obviously the entire point of christmas and such would be lost. the point is to have a whole bunch of stuff. it is basically giving you an excuse to spend money on yourself without feeling like you should save money, because officially you are buying someone else something and someone else is buying you something. also it is an excuse for the poor to get stuff from the richer, and from kids to get stuff from the adults. the thing is, i will take money, and i dont get mad or something, but i rarely give money, and i want money, but not only money.
