It's going to be good. Philly and I battling it out, Pittsburgh and Chicago battling and New York getting lowly Milwaukee. I would think a tie breaker would first be decided in how teams did head to head but I guess that might not be the case. I don't know about you guys but I'm looking forward to getting into a Dynasty league and I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of you active talkers in their also. I guess the best you can hope for is a league where all the teams are active and take time to talk it up.

Yea, I too am sure to sign up for a Dynasty leauge and would be happy if we all got in one together. You guys in the NL have quite a five-way battle going for first place. In the AL it has come down to the last three games between me and Kansas City. If my luck holds out, I'll see one of you in the Series, If not, hope to see you all in the Dynasty League.

The NL is still out of control. I can't believe NY Raptors lost to Milwaukee with their top starter. Philly squeaked by Brooklyn, and Chicago brought Pitt down a rung. It is still up for grabs, no doubt. I like my Irons' chances with my top two pitchers coming up for the last two games, but Brooklyn has hammered me before...
I'll be going dynasty as well. Maybe we all will be meeting again. Good luck!

Yeah, it looks like KC and Balt are playing for pride in this final AL series - the winner gets 1st place, but they will meet again in the playoffs either way.The NL is still out of control. I can't believe NY Raptors lost to Milwaukee with their top starter. Philly squeaked by Brooklyn, and Chicago brought Pitt down a rung. It is still up for grabs, no doubt. The only team who can afford to lose their last game and stay in the race is Pitt - they are guaranteed at least a tie for 1st place. The wildcard spot is up for grabs though.
The only scenario where there is no tie for the playoff spots is Raptors and Meeshers both lose. In this scenario Pitt will take 1st, and the winner of Brooklyn vs. Philly will take the wildcard.
Any other way you slice it, you win you're in at least a tie, you lose you're out (except Pitt).
If Chicago wins and the Raptors win, there will be a four-way tie for 1st, and the only drop out will be the loser of Brooklyn - Philly. If Chicago loses and the Raptors win, a two-way wildcard tie. If Chicago wins and the Raptors lose, a three-way tie for 1st. Five teams are still alive with one game left!

This is great. Lat game of the season and who knows what the heck will happen. I'm a little discouraged because I have a bad pitcher going. My ace Luis Smith (9-2 2.50 ERA.) is one bar from being ready. I wish I could have pitched him any ways. Oh well, I have set it up so that I will have a short leash on my starter. I lose my last game of the season to miss the playoffs because the 1 pitcher I didn't want to pitch did. I moved my long relief guy, Ed White (ERA. 7.72), to closer/set up because that spot was hardly used this season. Go figure my starter, who sucked all year go's 7 strong shut out innings. Despite the fact all my good relievers were ALL rested up the bad one comes in after the pitcher was pinch hit for, AND he was left in even when the bases got loaded with one out. So what happens, a grand slam and my 1-0 lead evaporated. Oh well, good job Philly. Good luck in the playoffs.

Raptors, my condolences to you as well. That was just weird. Some bad luck injuries plagued what I thought was the best team in the NL by the numbers.
Anyway, I'll miss these players when they are deleted after the WS. Hopefully we'll meet again in a future league, guys.

Brooklyn, I indeed felt pretty lucky about that. I didn't know he was your worst pitcher, but I also didn't expect this so-so slugger to hit one out at such an opportune time. I too found it difficult to do the settings so that you were running your best pitchers out there in all scenarios. Good lessons for the next league I guess. Hey, for a minute there I thought you were going to start Mike Giambi in that game! I knew you were doing what I had been doing, trying to monkey with the rotation to get the best setup.Raptors, my condolences to you as well. That was just weird. Philly your right. I tried demoting my starter so that by default my ace who was one bar short would start the game but the computer was going to have Mike Giambi who I called up start. I almost didn't have time to get my regular starter back in because work got busy. That would have been an interesting development.Good Luck in the World Series!!!
