I would like to see the manager be able to specify some players as "do not use under any circumstance" rather than having to promote/demote a zillion players to protect against injuries after you wrap up a playoff spot. I had an all star caliber 2nd baseman lost for nine games in a meaningless pinch hitting at bat when I benched him to protect against injury. It takes a ridiculously long amount of time to pick up bums, and promote/demote 20 players to protect against such a lame occurrence.
