How crucial hit by pitch and sacrifice fly affects E.Paige

Going into his 87 game Paige lacks only 9 plate appearances of qualfying for the batting average leader race.Barring an injury,Paige will be batting 3rd in the next two games.These 9 missing plate appearances does not count HBP/SF.If anyone can tell me that,I would appreciate it very much.Of course following the 87 game he will be 12 short minus what he gets in the following two games.When he does reach the proper required plate appearances,will he qualify for the All Star team and other Awards,e.g.MVP,etc.?Thank you.
