Tag ups and some more suggestions

Every time i see a person tag up from 3rd he will never get thrown out even though i have really good outfielders....i also want to know when my game starts so i can see whats going so then maybe i can make changes during the game such as switching pitchers.... also how come the best pitcher in the league is 2 games under .500 even though his team is stacked??????????????????????????

Also about the pitcher, there's all sorts of places to look in real MLB where great pitchers put up lousy W-L stats. This year I can look at Matt Morris (not the best in the league but quite good) and see his 10 and 6 record after 19 starts, the Cards offense seem to go to sleep when he takes the mound. Also the Cubbies Kerry Wood is only 8 and 5 after 17 starts. NY Mets have Al Leiter at 8 and 7 after 18 starts with a 2.9 ERA.
All 3 of those teams have decent to great lineups, but when they're ace goes to the mound they all fall asleep.

The arms of your outfielders gives you the chance to get him thrown out, but for the most part if a ball is hit to mid to deep OF the runner on 3B scores easily, and the OF arm just makes a closer play.Also about the pitcher, there's all sorts of places to look in real MLB where great pitchers put up lousy W-L stats. As for managing during the game, while it would be nice, I doubt that it will happen anytime soon. I think Tyson is planning to incorporate some managerial tendencies which will allow you to customize things like how short of a leash you have with your starters, how aggressive you are on the basepaths, etc. I don't know how soon he'll be able to do this, but look for it at some point in a future release.
As for game times, I think they are 8:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 5:00 PM -- all EST. I may be off by a half-hour, though.

Oops -- those times are for the regular leagues. For the beta league, the games will be played daily at 7:30AM, 2:30PM, 6PM, and 9PM EST.Pages: 1
