But the guy he tied with - WOW! Buddy Hernandez, 29, led the FRL in Homers, RBI, and BA. In 1966, Frank Robinson did that for the Orioles.
I propose that we give Buddy Hernandez a Frank Robinson Award - for the triple crown in a league named for a triple crown winner.
And an attaboy. Hernandez is 25 homers ahead of the league for his career - at 275. He's 3 RBI shy of 1000 - the next guy is at about 830. He's almost got the AllTime Triple crown, but he's 4th in BA.
I'm glad we don't play him over in the NL. CLE, promise you'll keep him over there.

I was checking to see how my player, Moe Macnamara, did for the season, and I am happy to say that he won his second consecutive MVP in the NL.
