Does every post on here have to turn political?

Goddamnit, even the MVP debate has turned into a political discussion about the amount ballplayers are paid versus the amount teachers, doctors, firefighters etc. are paid. Does anyone want to talk about baseball or sports on here anymore without dragging in political rhetoric?

that is how it usually gets started;

happy, skierdude (usually one of them), but also me, hollywood, duff, a few others, will say something halfway on topic and halfway off and political, than it becomes all political. tyson probably has too much work to shut them all down. if he wanted to shut them all down he could appoint a moderator only for this board and most of the topics would be dead.

i'd moderate and i would do it for free. ofcourse i wouldnt be a very good moderator by tyson's standards so i wouldnt last long but it would be fun.

Sorry if I'm lumping all you guys together, I obviously don't have time to read through all the posts and determine who is who and who says what. I'm not sure if this is a warning or what, but I do spend some time contemplating whether to ban skierdude, Happy, and Me from the Message boards. I truly believe that I lose customers because of you 3, and none of you guys is in a Dynasty league.

I'm not going to ban you today, but I wanted to let you know that I do think about it.

I would highly suggest appointing a moderator to shut the stuff down if you don't want it. Preferably not someone that is involved in the discussions a lot.

ban me if you want. im not gonna come back. it isnt like i am forced to be here. sure stuff turns political. i was talking about value, and stupid skier has to talk about something dumb. generally i dont start it, i just make it worse. you are losing customers from us? who would leave because of this? "i would join, but in off topic they said something political" everyone who posts here isnt gonna leave, and everyone who doesnt isnt gonna know, so who cares. as i said before, i dont care, ban me if you want

God, shut the hell up. Give the man some respect. He creates this site for everybody to enjoy, you guys say things he doesn't like. He then, being the nice man that he is, gives you a fair warning to clean up your act(which he didn't have to do) and all you guys can do is state how you don't really like it here anyway. Don't question Tyson, do what he wants or leave.

a couple things, i totally understand tysons point and i will try not to get into it with ME and happy, also has anyone else noticed that none of these controversial discussions started happening until ME and happy got here. o and i am joining a dynasty league next signup. and i dont think that a moderator for this isnt a bad idea, im sure someone would be willing to do it but it would have to be someone who isnt in the conversations. and i also know that when i got here i stirred somethings up on this board and got into arguements with people like hollywood, but it never got political until ME and happy came here and stirred things up even more.

skier the reason that it got controversial when we got here was before that you and hollywood were the only people, and you cant get into something political because you are both the same politically. as the song goes "it takes 2 baby" i never said that i didnt like the site, but he can ban me. fine. it is easy to say "it is happys fault" as skier says, but i know that it is my fault, and skiers fault, and i would think it unfair for either of us to be banned and the other one to not be banned. it really isnt MEs fault much. skier you can throw the blame all day, but it is easy to see whose fault it is.

ME wut is wrong with the HAPPY thread. all it is is talking about high school girls nothing political in that. and actually i dont agree with hollywood on all of his political beliefs, he just supports them with actual reasons that i have to respect on like u. if u wanna see some people argue over which party is better and be totally blinded by their own party and say anything to defend their party come to one of my family get togethers. everyone is a republican except schef's mom. my grandma reads books called liberal treachery, its some pretty funny stuff.
