And, on the flip side, isn't that a pretty gutsy move for the runner on third to try to score on an infield grounder? With no outs and the game on the line, wouldn't he wait for a more opportune time rather than blow a runner in scoring position?

Bottom of the 12th, men on first and third (although the play-by-play doesn't mention the advance to third, DynastyVision shows it), score tied 4-4, no outs, and the defense goes for the double play rather than trying to prevent the winning run from scoring?And, on the flip side, isn't that a pretty gutsy move for the runner on third to try to score on an infield grounder? Perhaps it was one of those plays where the runner faked holding 3rd long enough and then made the mad dash home...I've seen it happen.Pages: 1
