Unrealistic play

Bottom of the 12th, men on first and third (although the play-by-play doesn't mention the advance to third, DynastyVision shows it), score tied 4-4, no outs, and the defense goes for the double play rather than trying to prevent the winning run from scoring?
And, on the flip side, isn't that a pretty gutsy move for the runner on third to try to score on an infield grounder? With no outs and the game on the line, wouldn't he wait for a more opportune time rather than blow a runner in scoring position?
Game is at http://www.simdynasty.com/beta/boxscore.jsp?boxscoreid=3890&cityid=5 .

Scott Lipetri doubles. Jose Poorman reached on a fielding error by Ben Johnson. Roger Freed grounds into a 4-6-3 double play. [color=Red]

weird things happen in baseball

Perhaps it was one of those plays where the runner faked holding 3rd long enough and then made the mad dash home...I've seen it happen.
