Brew-Crew just too mediocre

I am a first year owner who in the draft chose best available and ended up with 20 Outfielders at a decent rating only 1 star player and absolutely no pitching i have made four or five trades but am still below .500 anybody have any tips for next year please help

I hear ya...this is my first season, first team...I wound up with a bunch of speed but no power...we are making a push now though!
I talked to some vets in the msg boards and got the scoop on setting up the draft #'s...I tried it in another league and am currently in 1st 10 games in front of second place.
I have U2U'ed you the numbers.

Even an experienced owner can have problems in the SS leagues. There can be such a wide varieance in talent for league to league and season to season. You can have all of the right numbers but still end up with crapola.

In the case of the Range Riders, I got some great pitching but v e r y l i t t l e hitting. despite having the numbers right on the hitters.

If this bunch makes it to post season, I will be surprised.
