i offered pittsburgh a trade of danny mcdonald for goat colon but when the trade was accepted, goat colon disappeared and i was left without a player swapped. danny took off for pittsburgh and goat was kidnapped and never made it to logan airport. :(

doh, i just read the news about the draft being re-run lots ofs times. i guess thats my fault. oh well :)

I had the same thing happen, I traded my 1B to Detroit for one of his new draftees, who no longer exists. Doh!

I was playing with the draft, trying to tweak it and get it right. Therefor, I reran the draft probably about 8 times. So I deleted anyone from the database that was drafted in 1954 each time before I reran the draft.

Sorry if this caused you to lose a player in a trade.

The dates on the news page are all screwed up. Transactions I made yesterday (real world yesterday) are at the top but transactions I made today are below them. This is probably causing some confussion.

I hadn't set up the schedule for 1954 yet, so the season jumped ahead a few days trying to play games that weren't there yet. I had to reset the league from April 7th to April 1st to fix this last night. So any transactions made yesterday are most likely having the wrong date.
