So far, Detroit has picked Vina, White, Levine, DiFelice, and 3 Rule V'ers, and there could be more. If they get some more good pitchers, they could easily win 60 games in a shakey al central. They could even do better, so do the tigers have a chance to win the al central?December 19, 2003 at 02:06AM View BBCode
You're talking about the Tigers, right?December 19, 2003 at 03:25PM View BBCode
even though they totally suck, they are in a totally worthless divsion with no real talent. a few injuries to the other teams top players and the tigers can be like KC was last year, so they do have a chance at winning that division (no chance in any other division)December 19, 2003 at 03:53PM View BBCode
I won't say it's hopeless for the Tigers...December 19, 2003 at 03:56PM View BBCode
If disparity in talent were equal to distance, here's how it would be...December 19, 2003 at 10:09PM View BBCode
No matter how small, no matter how astronomically small, there's ALWAYS a chance. That's why there're 162 games.December 19, 2003 at 10:11PM View BBCode
the only real people that will contribute is vina and white, although levine will do some. i say 60 wins maybe 65.December 19, 2003 at 10:49PM View BBCode
60 wins will not win any division, even the central. We should be talking about the Indians being the Royals of last year. :)December 21, 2003 at 12:43AM View BBCode
the royals did have one bonafide star in mke sweeney who did miss time but they also have another guy who could possibly be a star in carlos beltran. who is the tigers best player? dimitri young? rondell white? yea i think thats it.Pages: 1
