WOW!
I mean, wow...
Is this guy on drugs nowadays or something??
He was slurring his words and constantly kept telling the sideline reporter that he was going to kiss her.
Joe has gone crazy...:o

my dad and I saw it. my dad said Namath was suppose to go to University of Maryland (where my dad went), but he failed the entrace exam and ended up going to Alabama, where he majored in recreation. he's not exactly intelligent.

Makes sense. I bet Joe Namath's head sounds like an empty spray paint can when he sneezes.
Now watch, he'll be on TV tomorrow announcing that he's negotiated a lasting peace in the middle east. He'll be stumbling around threatening to kiss everyone at the Nobel peace prize ceremony...:)

namath, basically the only really good jet ever. Martin is probably the second best.

You poor Jets fans, how many HOF have you guys had, anyways? I can't think of very many...:(

not that bad actually. we got a bright future with pennington and moss. not to mention the new york sack exchange from years back. and c-mart is great. 9 straight 1000 yard rushing seasons. only barry sanders can boast that.

yeah, he is consistantly above average, but only had 1 really good season. consistancy does something, but he isnt in the top 10 in best RBs ever. he sucks now.

Curtis Martin gets my vote for blue-collar all-star, he is mr. consistent, never spectacular, but efficient. But he shouldn't be in the HOF...

he is like Eddie Murray, or Hank Aaron, no great seasons, but they were good for a really long time. HOF, i dont know, maybe.

I like Martin, too. If he could put together a couple more good solid seasons then he'd have a good shot at making the hall.

anorth 1000 yard season or two and Martin would make the hall like Eddie Murray. But football it is a lot easier to get in. the hall of fame has a really dumb rule that each year a minimum of i think 3 guys must get in and a maximum of something like 8, so good but not great players can get in (more often than in baseball)

Almost as dumb as the baseball rule that every team have a player in the all-star game, sheesh...
Like we want to see a Devil Ray in the mid-season classic...

That's right!
MLB should stop coddling a charity case like the Yankees.
Let them earn some success on their own!:)
