USC trojans... in the baseball trivia game i have almost every answer to a question about "what college..." the answer is USC trojans. anyway, everyone knows college football is screwed up. college basketball is bad players, but they have an amazing playoff. football is the opposite.

I really, really wanted Michigan to win cause then there would be only 1 number 1 team (and I applied there, but not sure if i will get in or go there if i do). Now 2 #1s. that is an oxymoron. one team should be given the award and the other one should be screwed, that is better than 2 teams being the best.

And as much as I like USC, and believe that SC would beat either of those teams, whoever wins the OU, LSU game deserves to be national champ.

Yesterday I heard someone say that USC/Michigan and the OU/LSU Bowl Games should be treated as a Semifinal, as though they were playoffs (since its like a seeded playoff anyway, with #1 vs. #4 and #2 vs. #3), and then the winner of the games should face each other. That would make there be no possibility of "multiple #1's". It sounds crazy, but I kinda like it.[Edited on 1-2-2004 by jer2911]

yea thats a good idea. just play one more game between usc and ou/lsu depending on who wins. then they could really crown a national champ but that wont happen.-skierdude44

if they had a playoff, where should you stop? 4 teams? 8? 16 is impossible. the # 9 team i believe is florida, and that is extremely controversial, because almost everyone thinks they should at least be 8, so there would be a fight about the #8 team. if there were 4, then the #5 team would say "i could beat all those teams..."

no just do the top 4 teams like wut would happen if there wuz a game between the sugar bowl and rose bowl winners. obviously this years number 5 team, ohio state, cant say that they could beat the top 4 teams bcuz they already lost their conference championship to michigan who is number4. i dont think that any teams would have a problem if it wuz spelled out in the beginning of the year that the top 4 teams would play in a playoff for the national title.-skierdude44

WRONG. anyone remember, it was spelled out at the beginning of this season, the top 2 teams from that computer thing would play against each other for the national championship.

the computer thing is a retard so that discounts everything. if u cant even win ur own conference then u dont deserve to play for a national title. i would rather see lsu vs michigan in the sugar bowl than ou. it should be lsu vs. usc but if we had a four team playoff every one would be happy.-skierdude44
