1969 may well be Detriot's last chance to be in the playoffs for a while. But, getting there is not yet determined. We have 3 teams in a tight race with only one game separating them and 8 games remaining.I wish the best to all 3 teams as the final 8 games are played.

Yeah, it looks as if we (the Crooks) will be facing Detroit...again. Don't worry Wretched, as with Detroit, we are aging quickly. We will probably be passing torch to you come next season. As for this season, you Wheels have taken the last 2 pennants...this year is ours. Hopefully we only have to face that beast JPD once!!

Thanks, when this thread was put up, it seemed I lost like 10 of the last 12 games.. Talk about a jinx, and a crappy team..

Congrats to Detroit (again!!!). We had JPD beat in the first game until our pen coughed it up. I figured we wouldn't be as lucky the second time we faced him. Good luck in the series and represent the AL well.

Congrats to Detroit. Looking to make it 3 Championships in a row for the Wheels and 4 in a row for the AL. Hopefully the winner of CHI/STL can bring the trophy back home to the NL for the first time since '65!Pages: 1
