If the New York red socks are not my opponent in the playoffs, as they should be, with an 86-76 record, my Philadelphia Chickens will be playing under protest in this upcoming playoffs.

Granted, with my team's name being the Philadelphia Chickens, it does tend to undercut my seriousness when I say this, but here goes...If the New York red socks are not my opponent in the playoffs, as they should be, with an 86-76 record, my Philadelphia Chickens will be playing under protest in this upcoming playoffs.

On to the World Series, where at least I know I'm facing the real American League Champion.

Well, I guess we'll never know if my team could have beaten the second best team in the National League, because it wasn't allowed to play the second best team in the league. (If some admin ever wants to set up the "real" NLCS, I'd love to play it.)On to the World Series, where at least I know I'm facing the real American League Champion.
