Of course, I'll never really know if it was deserved because I didn't get a chance to play New York in my own league during the playoffs, in which they were not for some reason allowed to play despite coming in second in the NL. Though I didn't think Cincinnati should have been my opponent in the NLCS, they did play admirably, taking the series to six games.
On the other hand, my opponent in the World Series did clearly deserve to be there and played an excellent, hard-fought seven-game Series with my Chickens...but I guess in the end Rooster Power was just too much for them. Congratulations to the Chicago Clubs2 (really the Chicago Blue Jays), and thanks to everyone else for a great season.
