You could have a contending team in 1-2 years...
My suggestion is this..
Move your younger position players into your starter spots. You have very good prospects that are at the prime age for increases. Let them play, get them as many at bats as possible.
Your older players do not lose anything by not playing, until they are 34 yrs old. after that they decline due to not playing.
Your pitching is very nice. Get the SP' under 25 yrs old 200 IP's,,get each of the RP's under 25 yrs 100 IP's if possible...the most innings should go to your best/youngest RP's that are over 22 yrs old.
Other than that keep this in mind. You have 1 to 2 years to get your team ready. So if you need to convert that D Arm/B Range CF to 1B go for it...so what if he commits errors... by the end of the year he will be a 1B/CF multipurpose player. What I mean is look at each of your players if they do not seem to have the requsite Defensive stats for that position find them a better more fitting position. By the time you are ready to compete they will have converted to the new position.:D
You have extra pitching so ear mark 1 or two of them for development and the rest trade if you can get very good deals for them. Always think about the effect your trade has on your team, your League, the other guys team and his league..is he you competitor??? watch out!

Thank for the kind words and advice. Beacause of what you said II have made some changes with my pitching to better take advantage of improvement chances. I'm hoping in 2 years I will have 5 stud pitchers. I moved up one pitcher with a C+ endurance and hope to move to B- this year. In two years my 20 year old pitching prospect will be ready to join the rotation. And I will have a strong relief core under 28.I do need to work on my outfield, but I have some prospects. Look out for the Colts in 55!
