Please Read Before You Post a Suggestion

July 01, 2009 at 03:29PM View BBCode

-Before posting a suggestion please make sure you have checked all of posts included in the topped thread about the topic you are posting. We have consolidated posts for your convenience.

-Check http://simdynasty.ideascale.com as the suggestion you are making could be in voting already.

-When posting a suggestion please make the subject you exact idea topic, and not an unrelated "sales pitch."

ex.

Good: "Idea to make position changes more difficult."

Bad: "NEW IDEA, COULD BE GREAT!"

-Please do not use this forum to "complain" about a change that "needs" to be made. If you have a solution to a problem please suggest it, but this is not a place to simply say something is wrong without an idea for improvement.

This will greatly help us organize the ideas and make it more accessible for others to find.

Thanks,

Corey, I doubt you mind, so I'd just like to elaborate a little.

1) If you have an actual gameplay problem (i.e. "pitcher improperly used"), post it in support.

2) If you just have a general comment on a dislike of an aspect of the game, but can't really seem to figure out where to put it, post that in other comments.

3) Personal bickering isn't going to solve anything. Unless we foolishly organize a Sim-con, you're never going to meet these people. And, even if you did, odds are, you'd never know it. It's not worth it. It doesn't solve anything. It makes people think less of you. So just try to steer clear of that.

4) At least try to keep the conversation on topic. If something a bit off-topic arises, but, the way it got there is relevant (i.e. lefty specialists thread going into how it'd require more pinch hitting options for the realism of the game), that's fine. But taking something like positional changes and turning it into an argument about whether A-Rod sucks or not, that'll get locked. Possibly removed.

That's all. Look, we (or at least I) don't want to have to be dickish cop-like figures here. We'd like to get this to a point of peace. First, we have to organize the topics into master threads. I'll open up the threads with these so, if you're feeling helpful, you can link your thread in there so that we don't have to constantly patrol and link those in there. However, anyone posting anything that isn't a thread link will have that post deleted ASAP. After that, we've just got to try to keep everyone peaceable here. But that's in your hands as well as ours.

So, just work with us while we get this thing up and running? We appreciate it.

Jim.
