"The following trade in the RRL was made:
7/13/1961
A trade has been completed between the Washington Zoo and the Cleveland Barons. The Cleveland Barons receive Lance Parrish from the Washington Zoo in exchange for Tony Samuls.
The problem with this trade is that I (Cleveland) was also suppose to get Paul Kimball from Washington. I think since one of his 2 catchers went on the DL, this prevented me from getting him in the trade."
I am going to ask for a reversal of the trade if I don't receive Kimball as I had originally thought I would...

I completed a trade with Washington to acquire a backup Catcher...however, there is an issue I have with this deal. I made the following post in private for Admin in the support forum:"The following trade in the RRL was made:

I dont have a problem with a reversal of the trade as long as both teams are ok with it and the trade gets an ok from admin

yea i think the problem was that ABE would not allow a team to have less than two major league catchers, which is what would have happened here. so instead of trading both guys to me, it just traded one and kept the other. weird...i mean, had i known that i would have traded Dick Washington to him just so he could meet the minimum catcher standard. ill wait and see what admin says...

Actually, the trade was a one for one deal, and Kimball was going up from the minors to give me a second catcher on my roster. There was never anything listed anywhere saying the trade was more than one player for another, thus no mistake by ABE. Again, Kimball was listed at the bottom of the trade as "Promote."

geez, then i totally misread it...i wouldnt make a deal like that...its a big mistake on my part. i need to do something to reverse this...[Edited on 7-18-2009 by ryang]
