Baltimore has one nomination: Manny Heredia

http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=5020292

Heredia was an 8-time All Star (7 as a starter) who led the league in RBI 3 times (1971, 1973 & 1975) and led the league in HRs in 1975 with 42. From 1966 through 1979, Heredia averaged 31 HR and 111 RBI. Heredia also won a Gold Glove in 1977 (the first year Gold Gloves were issued in the FRL - he probably would have won a few more in his prime).

Heredia was the "Big Bat" that Baltimore imported when they shipped future HOF candidate Dick Phillips to Philadelphia in a 1974 trade. Heredia came through in the deciding game of the 1979 World Series (Game 6) with a dramatic 2-run HR in the top of the 9th inning to propel Baltimore to their first WS title in 29 years.

Heredia retires with 2,487 hits, 450 HR (18th all-time) and 1621 RBI (14th all-time).

Milwaukee nominates the following player:

Johnny Luzinski (CF) http://www.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?id=5108450

Luzinski was a 5-time All Star Centerfielder and 1972 NL MVP who averaged over 100 runs scored and 30 stolen bases per season over a 12 year span as a full time starter and leadoff hitter for Milwaukee. He helped the Musketeers win 4 World Series championships, including three in a row from 1976-1978, with his bat, legs, and glove.

Johnny hit .315 or better 5 times on his way to a career .292 batting average, and was a great CF who won a gold glove in the first year it was issued and like Manny Heredia, would have won a few more at least if the award had been implemented sooner. In fact, he committed the same number of errors as he won WS Rings during the 1976-1978 seasons, getting 1 of each those years!

Johnny won the 1972 NL MVP by having a great year, hitting .328 with 21 homers and 46 stolen bases. Not known for his power, Luzinski provided some "pop" at the top of the order by hitting 17 or more HR's 5 times, and despite not having big career totals played at a very high level for most of his career, hitting at a .303 clip in a 10 year period from age 26 to age 35.
