the problem is not that it affects their health, it is that there are too many HRs and stuff.March 07, 2004 at 02:04AM View BBCode
exactly, studies have shown that if taken under supervision and taken correctly, most steroids will not cause health problems, but it is a form of cheating. and i understand orza's theory (not the fact that he thinks that there shouldnt be testing) about how his job is to protect the athletes, and steroids, if taken correctly, usually dont cause health problems. but he is only protecting the athlete's heatlh, but when the fan support for the game drops to a minimal level because of the steroid crisis and the teams cant afford the athlete's and then they are forced to lose money, then he isnt protecting them. hopefully the game doesnt get to that point but the fact is he really isnt protecting the players by not allowing testing.March 07, 2004 at 06:20AM View BBCode
