Hello all, my name is Nicholas Reppard, I am the commissioner of the Dustin Pedroia League. I am 26yrs old, I live in Cicero, NY (suburb of Syracuse), and I am an Electrical Engineer.

I have been a member of Sim Dynasty since ~2005. I have managed several ball clubs including various teams from the Dazzy Vance League, Mickey Mantle League (Dynasty League), Carlton Fisk League, and a few more that I can't quite recall.

If you couldn't tell from the league name I am a huge Red Sox fan, have been for as long as i can remember. Living in upstate NY has proven to make life as a Red Sox fan a bit more frustrating than usual (especially this season). But I live for moments like the 2004 ALCS!!

Adding to my misery I am a Washington Redskins fan and, as of this year, I am a season ticket holder! I have been on the waiting list since my senior year of high school and was pretty stoked to get the phone call earlier this spring with the opportunity to not only see my Redskins home games but to see my hometown hero McNabb (having watched almost all of his college football games).

I'm looking forward to a fun, exciting, and competitive league with some of the less traditional development metrics in both the minors and majors. Best of luck to you all and I look forward to the fun.

Hey guys, my name is Chris, though my SD Alias is CW.

I'm a 26 y/o Systems Engineer in Rochester NY, grew up in Rome. Nick and I went to college together and started playing SD about the same time, I started in about 2004 and my main league is the CFL, where I am the commish and we have a strong group of owners that have been together for quite some time.

I'm a Mets fan, so I must resort championship hopes to SD. I also am an Eagles fan, so I can't root for McNabb anymore. At least I have Syracuse to root for, and fortunately I haven't become a Bills fan from living in Rochester.

I'm very active and love wheeling and dealing and will generally get back to you asap. I tend to travel for work every few months and am often on the other side of the world, but I'll usually put a heads up post on the board. I generally have internet wherever I go but sometimes I'll be 12 hours ahead!

Hello all my name is Ronnie Conner and I am 47 years and I drive truck for a living. I have been playing SD for a while and currently have 3 other teams and my best being in the RYL at the moment. I will make trades of I feel they are fair and some know I make bad ones ocassionally, I do try to limit those.

I am an Oakland A's fan and hope that Billy can put a winner together before long.

Looking forward to trying to build a winner and have fun doing it.

Hello fellas. Name is Andy Pierce. I'm 37 and recently moved back to the beautiful area of Central Arkansas. I just went through my 2nd divorce. I have custody of my 4 kids. I work for a large telecommunications company. I'm also going to school online to finish my degree. So as you can imagine, my days are incredibly full. But I love SD and it is what I enjoy doing in my off time. I coach my 12 year old's little league team, was an umpire for 5 years back in the 90's, and played high school ball (and youth before that). I love baseball! :)

I've been doing SD for a few years now I think. I'm the commish in 2 leagues, my original and still my favorite Dazzy Vance League, and the Nellie Fox League. This will be my 6th active team. Eventually I'll figure out how to win this crazy ABE based game :P

Anyway, I look forward to competing with you guys. Good luck!

---

Oh failed to mention this info our commish got started...

I too am a Redskins fan. I'm not a band wagon fan in any sport. Once you are my team, you are my team. I became a Redskins fan when I was around 5. I remember a game between the skins and cowgirls. Roger Staubach was knocked out cold and I thought it was the coolest thing I had seen. From that moment on, I was a Skins fan. Lots of ups and downs over the years, but you get that with any team really.

I mainly love the Angels in MLB. I loved Reggie Jackson as a kid, and when he went to the Angels, I stuck with them. Remember the heartbreaking loss to the Red Sox in the 80's (darn Dave Henderson), and the near misses in the 90's. Love the stability of the team in the 2000's (thanks Mike!).
I also like the Braves and Cards. These are teams I grew up around. Also two of my favorite players of all time played for them. Tommy Herr is my favorite player of all time and he was a Cardinal when I was a young teem. Dale Murphy was great and someone I admired, and he was a Brave of course. So I've had them as team B & C all these years.

I don't really like a team in the NBA. I've always liked to follow a player(s). I loved Scottie Pippen, so the Bulls were my team in the 90's. Other than that, any player Arkansas related is who I follow. Corliss Willamson, Ronnie Brewer, Joe Johnson, Derrick Fisher, etc... If you forced me to pick a team, I'd go with the Grizzlies. I recently lived in the Memphis area for 10.5 years. So I was there when they got to town, and was there for the 2 good years they had with Hubie Brown as the coach.

Don't know squat about Hockey. So you northern folks can have that one. :D

College sports... simple answer. Arkansas Razorbacks. Been a Razorback all my life. Hate Texas, hate Alabama, hate Ole Miss, hate Notre Dame, and hate Miami.

There ya go, now you know me!

Hi all,

I am excited to be in the DPL, I love the way he plays the game and I enjoy the type of league this is.

Jim Foxx here, I am also 37 and have a wife and 5 kids, including a 5 month old. I already know I am crazy so no need to confirm it for me. :o I live in sunny Palm Desert, California. I am a huge baseball fan and play in a bunch of fantasy leagues, which got me interested in SD when I saw it 6 months ago. I still have a LONG way to go with this game but I have enjoyed every season, good or bad. I also have coached my son's baseball team now since t-ball and we just learned the team will play next summer in a tourney at the Baseball Hall of Fame which we are thrilled with.

I am a lighting designer for events, everything from corporate shows to concerts to theatre and I have to travel quite a bit. Most of the time I am on during the day will be when I am out of town and I check in daily from home, just depends on the chaos of the house.

I am a huge Astros fan as well as Angels and Royals. I grew up on Nolan Ryan and George Brett, still my two favorite players of all time. I have had the chance to golf and hunt with George Brett a few times when I was in high school and met Nolan a few years ago which was a huge thrill as well.

I really don't have much time for any other sports, other than the Raiders and football in general my wife would probably disown me if I got heavy into other sports as baseball is always on from March to October in our house.

Good luck everyone, I look forward to the league and there are some great owners in here. I hope I am up to the challenge.

My name is John and I am 39 years old. I am in the Air Force stationed at Scott AFB in Illinois. I am a Communication/Navigation Specialst which is a fancy way to say I fix radios and Navigation equipment on cargo aircraft. I am in a ton of leagues here in Sim Dynasty and love every one of em.

My dad was in the Navy and we moved a lot when I was a kid. I adopted the teams we lived by as I started watching tha various sports.

I am a Pittsburgh Steelers fan as we lived outside Pittsburgh in the early 70's and couldn't help becoming a fan.

I am also Atlanta Braves fan as I started watching them play when I was in Junior High back when they lost 100 games a year routinely but they were on TBS and we could watch all the games. Back when Dale Murphy, Glen Hubbard and Claudel Washington were playing.

Moved to Seattle for my Senior year of High School and became a Seattle Supersonics fan. Reluctantly follow the Oklahoma Thunder now that the franchise moved.

Looking forward to a great start to the league!

Hello! This is Mike with the Colorado Rockies.

Born in Indiana, grew up in St. Louis, college in Indiana, moved to Denver for my first Job and have been in Denver ever since.

I am a Rockies and Cardinals fans. I also follow the Broncos, Nuggets, Avalanche, and Blues. Was a big St. Louis football fan until they moved to Arizona.

I work at large engineering management consulting firm as a senior technologist. Basically I plan data collection investigations, analyze data and write reports to help our clients solve problems.

I am looking forward to the differences in the league setup vs. the other SD leagues. Good luck everyone and let the games begin!

Rob here. Born and raised just west of Cleveland in 1966, so even though I am approaching 44, no team from Cleveland has won a championship in my lifetime (the last being the Browns in '65--the year before the Super Bowl started).

Luckily I escaped the city, but not the teams. Haven't lived in Cleveland since the mid 80's. I've lived all over, most recently a suburb of Boston for the last 5 years.

I have a wife and 3 young children, so I'm on when my wife and kids let me.

I'm in sales, love to wheel and deal, and don't know a thing about variable development, so I'm looking forward to learning from the experienced guys.

Give 'em hell!

Hello all, my name is Jacob. I'm 26 and have lived in northern Indiana all my life (about 15 miles west of Notre Dame). Despite that, I really dislike the Irish.

I'm a huge Michigan State fan (my dad went to school there) and I love my Cubs. I've been to Wrigley many times (best place to watch a game and eat a hot dog), the Cell, Comerica, and Miller Park. Actually I enjoy rooting for any team who is playing the Yanks. Griffey is my favorite, but it's about time he hangs is up. Falling asleep in the clubhouse, really?

Baseball is life. When I'm not watching on TV, i'm playing softball (currently in my 12th season), MLB 2K10, Strat-o-Matic or I'm on here. On SimDynasty I have been an original owner in the Dazzy Vance, Walter Johnson, Eddie Stankey, and Orlando Cepeda Leagues and an expansion owner in the Jimmie Foxx, Satchel Paige, and John Smoltz Leagues. I feel like i'm forgetting one. Anyway, I have never used Variable Development so that will be new to me and I hope I'm up to the challenge. I'm also a Texan and Colts fan. I gotta say though, i was rooting for the Saints during the Super Bowl. Basketball doesn't really peak my interest. Playing is fun, but I don't have a team I root for. I'm good with the highlights of LeBron and Kobe.

Aside from sports, I work as a frozen manager at a grocery store chain. I have a Silky Terrier named Buster and love my 2005 Mustang. Got engaged this past January too, and no, we haven't set a date. I also enjoy FPS on my xbox 360...Modern Warfare, Halo, and Gear of War.

Anything else you wanna know just ask! I look forward to making this league great!

Well I am the old man of the league being as I just hit the big 50 this year.

I have been in numerous SD leagues but dropped out of most of them a few years ago ... lack of time, money and loss of interest in the normal leagues. It was just too easy to see what was going on.

That said I have been a lifer in the JFL league. It is a hidden letter league (+ and - as well as progress within letter grade).

This is my first number league. Just thought I would give it a go and see how it works. Looks like a good group of owners so I am sure it will be a very competitive league.

Texas is my team in this league as it is my adopted home. I moved to the Dallas area about 24 years ago and have never seen fit to leave as of yet.
