I absolutely agree. The amount of speech you have should absolutely depend on how much money you can spend. If three major corporations and two interest groups control the entire public discourse for the entire planet, well...that's good old fashioned facism...I mean capitalismMarch 11, 2004 at 03:12PM View BBCode
i dont care about the giving money to campaigns part, i was really pissed at the no advertising 60 days before an election part. i should be able to run an ad for or against someone anytime. its up to the people that see it to agree with it or not.March 11, 2004 at 04:39PM View BBCode
The fact is that you should be able to give as much money as you want. If the people think a corperation is trying to buy a senator or president, then they can vote you out. They cant force you to vote for anyone.March 11, 2004 at 04:40PM View BBCode
oh, obviously this is going to be shut down. sycophant, i kinda gotta wonder what you were thinking with this post. i mean, it is obvious in the title that it is political...March 11, 2004 at 08:49PM View BBCode
i agree with john mccain on the baseball-steroids issue. we all know that orza and fear arent gonna do anything by them selves but if the government forces them too, well thats a different story. they are the kind of guys who act tough but dont back it up. they have a strangle hold on the owners but they will do what ever congress says. but if congress makes up a plan and it blows well then im gonna reverse my position completely.March 11, 2004 at 08:52PM View BBCode
I never would have noticed this if skier hadn't bumped it up to the top :) So thanks buddy.Pages: 1
