I think the health system in this game is silly. For example, I have a 3B with D health, he is predestined to play 130 games a season, if he doesn't get injured, but if he stays healthy he will still play only a measly 130 games no matter what. its silly, why not give a player a baseline health and vary it from season to season. for example, a player has a B+ health one season next season he is B-, then the season after it is a B. Just small variances in a guys health from season to season could add a lot of realism to the stats in this gameOctober 07, 2010 at 11:53AM View BBCode
I posted something like this [url=http://www.simdynasty.com/oldforum-viewthread.jsp?tid=255076#pid1458424]here- Health as a probability[/url]. It hasn't received a lot of attention, but I may IdeaScale it just to see what happens.October 07, 2010 at 04:28PM View BBCode
it something that comes up semi-regularly. most people seem to agree that the health system right now is flawed and i've seen some good ideas for new systems but so far nothing has been done in that area. ideascale would probably help.October 12, 2010 at 06:52PM View BBCode
...but realize that changing the player's health from season (variable health) to season would be a big change. I actually like it the way it is. I'm not against exploring other possibilities but as it stands, I like knowing how many games a player will play per season barring injury.Pages: 1
