'63 Season

The A.L. is insane. Cleveland has charged into 3rd place with 70 wins on the back of Frank Jones who already has 20 wins and it's the middle August.

Can he pass George Glinatsis and his DPL record 27 wins set last season?

Bruce Easley has 29 bombs for St. Louis and needs 19 homers to break the single season record he set himself in '61.

Fun season, it's going to be an intense last 6 weeks.

Have a year Fred Faneyte . Nice season by the Oakland catcher.. Going for the DPL record for batting average set by the Brewers Tim Sabo at .354 in '55

ABE is making this a crazy final few game weeks... Boston is charging hard and my Royals have decided to play like a last place team in the A.L.

Over in the N.L., the Mets are putting some pressure on and have a great oppertunity to put themselves in a position to make the playoffs if they can take care of Brooklyn on the road.

Some series of note:

KC has three in Baltimore (6-6 there) then three in Boston (7-2 there) and three at home against first place Seattle (5-4 at home). Tough tough schedule.

Boston goes to Seattle (7-2 there) then three at home vs KC (2-7) then finish with Texas on the road (6-3).

The Mets go to Brooklyn next in a series that will most likely decide if they have a shot at the playoffs once it's over. They are 4-5 in Brooklyn on the season.

Good luck to everyone

;)
