1965 Power Index

January 19, 2011 at 01:01AM View BBCode

Time for another Power Index. For anyone unfamiliar with this, it is a measurement of your starting 5 and starting 8 position players. So basically I get an average of what each team brings to the table at the start of each game. If you platoon at a position, I just average out that sitation.

AL:

1. NY 81.8
2. TEX 81.7
3. TOR 81.1
4. BOS 77.5
5. Det 76.2
6. KC 76.0
7. TB 74.0
8. BAL 70.8

NL:

1. PIT 80.7
2. ATL 78.4
3. MON 78.1
4. STL 75.9
5. SF 75.7
6. BRO 74.6
7. COL 74.5
8. FLA 69.7

Boston may be 77.5, but the way he manages, he's sure to lose 100+ games AGAIN

About Boston. His numbers are inflated. I assumed that he would promote his number 1 overall pick. But he hasn't so his number is much further down.

Well that and the fact there are three starters at the major league level that should not be there. I'm sure that he hasn't gotten around to it as his minors is swelled up to 24, he is usually quite good about roster management.
