For instance I have 3 good SP's, 1 ok, and a mentor. Why isn't there preferences for SP1 SP2 and so on. I would like to leave my SP1 out there always until he get's tired (at the very least) and I would like to pull my SP5 after 5 innings regardless of how he's performing. This is costing me wins and IC's.
I would also like to suggest pulling a SP after giving up so many hits/runs in any 1 inning. SP 4 is throwing a 1 hitter through 5, all of a sudden single, single, double, walk (I want to pull him now) homerun.
Leaving a SP in if he is cruising. Let's say he get rocked in the 1st inning and doesn't give up another hit, he will eventually get pulled. If my #1 starter gives up 4 runs in the 1st, then shuts them down, I would like to leave him in for the rest of the game.
The pitchers prefs need a makeover IMO.

There's no way I can be the 1st person to mention this, but having a stats preference on when to pull the pitcher should be different for each SP. How would you suggest improving this aspect of the manager prefs? What would you do differently?

I think it would be great to be able to set the prefs for individual pitchers. I have had lots of staffs where one or two of my starters are better then my pen, even when a little tired--and others who I would like to pull ASAP. So it would be nice to optimize my team performance by allowing some starters to pitch when tired while others get pulled immediately. I went to ideascale (thanks for the link shawn) to register my agreement. But right now more people have disagreed. I'm not sure why unless people don't want to the hassle of setting 5 preferences.Pages: 1
