Tough Loss!

In game 1 today Cleveland @ Detroit, Everett Bass was perfect through 8 in a 0-0 game. In the bottom of the 9th he recorded the first two outs before giving up a walk to break up the perfect game. Got the next guy to keep alive the no-no. Bottom of the 10th with the score still 0-0 he hit the leadoff batter, then recorded out number one. The next guy doubled to ruin the no-no. With runners on 2nd and 3rd he was pulled. The relief pitcher gave up a single to score a run and give Bass the 1-0 loss. Ouch!

He pitched a great game and yea your right i only had 2 hits and it comes down to a player getting hit by a pitch for me to win. Tough lossErnest
