TIMING
I am expecting to be ready around noon or early afternoon, at which time the signup link will be posted. Any leagues that fill before 6PM will draft at 6PM on Thursday and play their first preseason games on Friday.
SIGNUP PROCESS
If you already have a Sim Dynasty Baseball account, you will not need to create a new account. In fact, if you have checked the box to remember your signon when you logged into baseball, you will already be logged in when you arrive on the football site. Simply go to the Team Sign Up option on the menu to get started. You can join up to 5 free Single Season leagues.
DRAFT PROCESS
There are two steps to the draft process: bidding for draft position and ranking your players.
Bidding for Position:
The first 50 rounds are grouped into 10 "superrounds". Each round drafts from a particular position, or from a pair of positions in the later rounds. Within each "superround" you will be allocating 1000 draft points at each of the 10 positions in that round, with the highest number of points drafting first. Three hours before the draft, your bids will be locked and the draft order revealed.
Pre-ranking players:
Within a few hours of the first team signing up for a new league, the draft pool will fill. Simply click on the position links on the draft bid page to see the list of players at each position and drag and drop into the order you prefer.
PLAYING GAMES
Games will be simulated once per day, one quarter at a time, with quarters running at 7AM, 10AM, 1PM, and 4PM Eastern time. Overtime will run at 7PM if necessary.
The first four games are preseason games which do not count in the standings. During the second half of these games, your backups, as set on your Depth Charts, will play instead of your starters. This will give you a chance to evaluate your players and strategies before final roster cuts are made and the regular season starts.
SALARIES
There is a salary cap in Sim Dynasty Football, but no contracts; each player simply has a set salary amount, visible on the Roster page. The salary cap is not enforced until the regular season starts.
I will leave the rest of the details to the Rulebook, but I wanted to give you all a heads up on what to expect. Thank you all for your patience, and good luck on the field!

Sim Dynasty Football will be opening its doors to Single Season Signups tomorrow, February 9th, barring any unusual circumstances. Chris can you put in the rulebook what teams belong to the AFC & NFC?~Corey

Teams are assigned to conferences after the league is full. Teams will try tyo go to the conference they are historically associated with but if the leagues fill unevenly they will be reassigned as needed. The only way to guarantee being in the AFC or NFC is to pick a New York or Los Angeles team, since they are forced into the conference that matches their initials.

I would like to sign up but can not find the football sign up option. not sure what i am doing wrong.
