The expansion draft can handle only a maximum of seven teams.
For the league to continue, one or two of the eight owners in the 2017 season who have not renewed need to sign up and pay.
If this does not happen, the league will fold. As a replacement owner and new commish, I hope we can end the stalemate and start the new season, but cannot without the above happening.

We have 14 owners paid for the next time period (eight returning owners and six replacement owners). Two returning owners who said they would renew have not and are not answering e-mails.The expansion draft can handle only a maximum of seven teams.

To be honest, this doesn't look good for the league.
Is it possible to have one person take a team as a replacement and send the other to an expansion?
For instance, Atlanta could be posted as a replacement team, and Tampa Bay gets added to the list of expansion teams?

Yeah, those two teams have not been on our league since the 5th and 6th, and they're not active on their other teams as well.To be honest, this doesn't look good for the league.

I also sent u2u's to several owners who were leaving, but no luck in their returning.

You have done a great job with this situation. Beyond what you gave done. I think this league is toast if Admin doesn't grant this request. I hope not, but I think it has come to that point.

without knowing much about this game, i have a couple of suggestions....don't know if they are possible. run a 14 team league? integrate the 6 expansion teams and re-open 2 spots? i think if sim dynasty wants business, it might be open to such things. every second we arent running is costing them......

At this point, we need resolution one way or another. We should hear today the decision.

It looks like we are going to fold the league. I'm sorry about this. I'll create another thread to talk about the logistics there.
