Interesting to see the lack of high HR numbers in the DPL...I hope to get a couple of guys in there shortly

I had thought we had a lot for the short 14 year history of the DPL. We should have 3 guys with 500 bombs by the end of year so I decided to take a look at the leagues I am currently in. Here are the results:
DPL: Current year 1974 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 3 (All should end up with over 500)
TWL(formally the 400 club): Current year:2029 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 13
BHL: Current year:2034 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 23
SAL: Current year 1974 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 1 and nobody with over 500 yet. This league has had 4 A+ pitchers and countless A rated pitchers. We all talk about the SAL being so pitching rich, nobody wants to be drafted as a hitter.
I think we are on pace to pass up all the leagues I am in for career HR numbers but that is only really 3 other leagues. Anyone else care to post their other league #'s?

Sure, I'm in 3 other leagues at the moment.
JSL: Current Year: 2029 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 17 500 HR's or more: 7
CFL: Current Year: 2051 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 51 500 HR's or more: 24
OCL(AA): Current Year: 2073 Total players with 450 or more HR's: 22 500 or more: 6

CFL has a ridiculous amount over 450!
--------
Shawkey has just taken the all time lead in career hits and is closing in on the all time lead for Runs. He already leads in Career RBI's and is nearing 2000 RBI's which is always amazing. He and Buddie have both been ageless wonders in my opinion and it's been fun to let them continue to be the best 2 players on my team well past 35.
Buddie is now 3 shy of 500 HR's and only 18 shy of Todd Gonzalez for the all-time lead...he already has 5 HR and has plenty of power, barely declined, so he should almost without a doubt become the all-time leader sometime around August this season.

Wow. Those CFL numbers are insane!
As far as the OCL goes, doesn't it take into account only the teams in that division that year?

The OCL takes into account not only the teams in that division but also anyone who retired in that division. So for instance Brian Glass retired at 830 SB for his career in AA. He doesn't move with the team he retired from so he'll be the league leader in SB until someone comes in and retires from AA with more. I don't think I have access to the league stats from the other 3 divisions.

Ever since I was fortunate enough to have Buddie and Shawkey slug their hearts out into the sunset to 500 HR's, I've been interested in getting guys to 500 and letting them play out their careers if they produce for me.
Since I'm not contending anymore it's been fun to pick up some HOF castoffs off waivers including Todd Gonzalez last year and now Bischoff and Hermann, #'s 6 and 8 in HR's. I am confident I can get those guys into the top 5 this year...so all the top 5 guys would have a connection to my franchise - its kind of a fun league in that way for me, and I've always been interested in player legacies. I think they can continue on much as Buddie and Shawkey did and be productive towards 40 years old.
