Timeline:
April 1st: RP Willie Johnson injured for 19 days
April 26th: 4-time gold glover at 3B Bubba Berry injured for 41 days
April 29th: CF Julio Walker injured for 27 days
May 23rd: SP Jason Naton injured for 13 days
May 24th: 5-time Cy Young winner Archie Rosario injured for 28 days
Rosario was 7-2 with an ERA of 1.69 when he went down. Despite the injuries, the Cubs are only 3 games out of first place. However, backup Mel LaFrancois has made some costly errors at third and when you lose someone like Rosario for an extended amount of time nothing good can ever come from that. Hopefully the injury bug can go bother another team for awhile and leave Chicago alone. It's gonna have to if we hope to make it back to the playoffs and defend our title.

The injury bug has hit the Cubs hard so far this season.Timeline:

I've had 4 relievers go on injury - as soon as one comes off the DL another goes on - like clockwork...its hit my bullpen deep, as they've been blowing many games for me.
